What is an unvented cylinder?+
A sealed hot water cylinder fed directly from the mains, giving strong pressure at every tap and shower without needing a loft tank.
How do I know if my cylinder needs replacing?+
Signs include leaks, discolouration, noise, lukewarm water that never heats properly, or a cylinder over about 15 years old.
Do I need to be Gas Safe registered to fit a cylinder?+
Unvented cylinders need a suitably qualified installer. Josh is a plumber and Gas Safe registered engineer, and will confirm how your installation is certified.
